In week 3 of the Quick Start Challenge, I was challenged into building a list of subscribers, by adding an opt-in form on our blog.

Dean Holland

Getting people to sign up (opt-in) is the hard part, because you must have traffic (visitors) coming to your page. In the Quick Start Challenge, it is all about getting free traffic.

Week 3 challenge is easy for me because I already had everything setup. I use Aweber for my Autoresponder, and I highly recommend it.

My website has an opt-in form and a popover in place, and has had 5 people sign up for my free gift since starting this challenge. So, it does work..

If you have read any of my other blog posts, you would know that I have been in the Internet Marketing business for nearly three years now.

Three years, it seems like yesterday, that I decided to do something on the Internet. Times flies and my money flew also. I have spent a lot of money to get started, and I have seen a very small amount come back through sales.

Quick Start ChallengeWith this blog post, I just want to recap about the last three years. I have had a few mentors, and all were very good, and experts in their fields. I am very grateful for their expertise, because without them I would not be where I am today.

At this very moment, I am still being coached on product creation. I am in the process of creating my very first product as we speak, and hope to launch it sometime this year.

After two weeks, it was time for them to return to Holland, but my very good friend had a surprise for me. As a birthday gift, he gave me a plane ticket to go back with him and my sister to Holland. I had not been in Holland for 3 years, so I was very excited to go back and visit my mother and friends. Read the rest of this entry

Partnership To Success – My Journey – Week 15 to 16

In week 15 of the Partnership to Success program is about how to use audio in your products. There was a detailed introduction into using audio and why we should consider using audio.Partnership To Success with John Thornhill

Before we can use audio we need software to record our voice. We can use Skype to record audio but we’ll need an additional piece of software to work with Skype to record audio.  This additional software is called Pamela and is not free. At this point I have not purchased it because I feel I don’t need it right now.  Maybe when I’m more advanced I might consider buying it.

The next software product was called Audacity and is free. I like this software program and have been experimenting using it. It’s easy to use but for someone who doesn’t understand how audio works, it can be challenging.  Read the rest of this entry
